iPhone 7 To Launch As iPhone 6SE (Rumor)

iPhone 7

We heard yesterday that Apple’s new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus  would be launching on the 16th of September and now we have some  ore information on the handsets.

According to a recent report Apple’s new iPhones will launch as the iPhone 6SE and iPhone 6SE Plus instead of the 7 and 7 Plus.

The news of the new name for the iPhone 6SE and 6SE Plus apparently comes from Apple’s supply chain and Apple may have chosen these new names because the handset will get minor design changes.

The new iPhones are expected to look similar to the 6S and 6S Plus, this will include changes to the antenna design which will be moved to the top of the handset and also there will be no 3.5mm headphone jack.

Apple are not expected to make any major changes to the design of their iPhone until 2017, so it would make sense for the company to save the iPhone 7 name for those handsets. I guess we will have to wait until September to find out exactly what Apple will call this years iPhones.
